Welcome to Hot Springs Housing!

Our primary objective is to offer you comprehensive information regarding life in Hot Springs, SD and the benefits of residing in one of our exceptional locations. Our utmost dedication lies in fulfilling the needs of our residents and fostering a desire to remain with us for an extended period of time.

Staffing

Our Brookside, Hillcrest and The Evans properties are under the supervision of Jo, a Certified Public Housing Manager, and Tayler Assistant Property Manager & Home Program Specialist. Their duties include handling all inquiries and applications for our communities, collecting and receipting for rent payments, completing the required regulatory documents of HUD and South Dakota Housing Development Authority, recording all work requests from our residents, and working closely with our residents to make our properties their long-term homes.


 “Our amazing Maintenance crew  maintains all of our properties electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, and landscaping systems year-round." Although normal working hours are Monday - Thrusday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, emergency response and repairs will be done as needed nights and weekends. Our staff takes great pride in the quality and timeliness of their work and smiles usually abound as they move around the sites

Housing Commissioners

Oversight of the management and planning for the organization is provided by Housing Commissioners, who are appointed by the Hot Springs City Council and/or the Fall River County Commission.

The Fall River Housing and Redevelopment Commissioners meet monthly, usually on the last Wednesday, at the Brookside property, where the public is invited to attend. To go to the meeting minutes click the blue button "Meeting Minutes."
